Family Fun Day

The All Bets Are Off podcast are delighted to announce that on Saturday 17th July 2021 we will be hosting a family fun day at New Lodge, the home of Billericay Town Football Club. The day itself revolves around a charity football match between All Bets Are Off and The Peoples FC, a charity YouTube football club from South East London.

This event is subject to COVID-19 and the government guidelines at that time. However, as things stand, and as per the current roadmap, the government is hoping to be in a position to remove all limits on social contact on the 21st of June and so we are cautiously optimistic that this day will not be disrupted.


On the day, there will be a number of 'sharing hubs' i.e. talks around gambling addiction, recovery and support, and mental health. Further information surrounding these will be made available in due course.


Gates will be open from 1 pm with the match kicking-off at 3 pm kick-off. There will be food and refreshments available to purchase at the club bar.

All monies raised will be evenly distributed between the NHS Northern Gambling Service, Gamvisory's Hardship Fund and Rosie's Legs.

The Match

> This is a 90-minute 11-a-side football match with roll-on/roll-off subs. If the match ends in a draw then extra-time and penalties will be played until a winner is decided.

> The Peoples FC will not be able to have more than 5 players per team on the pitch at all times, meaning that there will be at least twelve gambling addiction recovery community players on the pitch throughout the match.

> Matchday programmes will be available to purchase on the day. If you are unable to attend the event in person and would like to purchase a matchday programme we can arrange this closer to the time - please email admin@allbetsareoff.co.uk.

This event is open to all. You can purchase tickets via our ticketing portal by clicking here. These are print-at-home tickets and the prices are as follows: -

Adults (Age 18-64) - £10                               

Concessions (Age 65 & over) & Students - £8        

Young Adults (Age 12-17) - £5

Children (11 & Under) - £3


Tickets will be available at the gate but will cost £2 extra per category.


Live Stream


For those that are unable to make the event, you will be able to watch via the live stream which will start at 14.45 GMT (15-minutes prior to kick-off) and the commentary team will include All Bets Are Off co-host Chris Gilham.

The online stream will cost £7 to purchase with all monies from this added to the charity pot. Further announcements, including details of how to purchase, will be issued in due course.
